Ingredients

- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 cup orzo pasta
- 2 cups beef broth
- 1 small onion, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 tsp dried oregano
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Add diced onion and cook until softened, about 3 minutes.
- Add minced garlic and cook for 1 minute.
- Add ground beef, breaking it apart, and cook until browned.
- Stir in orzo, beef broth, salt, pepper, and oregano.
- Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to low and simmer for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Remove from heat and stir in Parmesan cheese.
- Serve warm.

- You can substitute chicken broth for beef broth if preferred.
