Description
Deliciously seasoned ground beef patties infused with the rich flavor of sautéed onions, perfect for a quick meal.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 medium onion, finely chopped
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- Buns for serving (optional)
- Cheese slices (optional)
Instructions
- In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the chopped onions and sauté until they are soft and translucent, about 5 minutes.
- In a mixing bowl, combine ground beef, sautéed onions, garlic powder, salt, black pepper, and Worcestershire sauce. Mix until just combined.
- Form the mixture into patties, about 1/2 inch thick.
- Preheat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the patties for about 5-7 minutes on each side or until they reach your desired doneness.
- If using cheese, place a slice on each patty during the last minute of cooking and cover to melt.
- Serve on buns with your favorite toppings.
Notes
- For added flavor, you can mix in additional spices or herbs to the beef mixture.
- Make sure not to overmix the beef to keep the patties tender.
- Feel free to add other toppings such as lettuce, tomato, or pickles.
