Description
A quick and delicious sandwich made with ground beef, sautéed peppers and onions, and melted cheese.
Ingredients

- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 green bell pepper, sliced
- 1 onion, sliced
- 4 hoagie rolls
- 8 slices provolone cheese
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
- Add onions and bell peppers, sauté until soft.
- Push vegetables to the side and add ground beef, breaking it apart as it cooks.
- Season with salt and pepper.
- Once beef is browned, mix with vegetables.
- Divide mixture among hoagie rolls.
- Top each with 2 slices of provolone cheese.
- Broil for 1-2 minutes until cheese melts.
Notes
- Use lean ground beef for less grease.
- Substitute provolone with American cheese if preferred.
