Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground turkey
  • 2 medium sweet potatoes, diced
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 cup diced onion
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheese (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add ground turkey and cook until browned.
  3. Add diced onion, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper. Stir well.
  4. Place diced sweet potatoes in a baking dish. Spread the turkey mixture over the sweet potatoes.
  5. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until sweet potatoes are tender.
  6. If using cheese, sprinkle on top and bake for an additional 5 minutes until melted.
  7. Serve hot.
