Ingredients

- 1 lb ground turkey
- 2 medium sweet potatoes, diced
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 cup diced onion
- 1/2 cup shredded cheese (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add ground turkey and cook until browned.
- Add diced onion, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper. Stir well.
- Place diced sweet potatoes in a baking dish. Spread the turkey mixture over the sweet potatoes.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until sweet potatoes are tender.
- If using cheese, sprinkle on top and bake for an additional 5 minutes until melted.
- Serve hot.
Notes
- Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
- For extra flavor, add a pinch of cayenne pepper.
- Swap sweet potatoes for butternut squash if desired.
