- 3 ripe avocados
- 1 lime, juiced
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp ground cumin
- 1/2 medium onion, finely diced
- 2 Roma tomatoes, diced
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp fresh cilantro, chopped
- 1/2 jalapeño pepper, seeded and minced (optional)
Instructions
- Cut the avocados in half, remove the pits, and scoop the flesh into a bowl.
- Mash the avocado with a fork to your desired consistency.
- Add lime juice, salt, and cumin, then mix well.
- Stir in the diced onion, tomatoes, garlic, cilantro, and jalapeño (if using).
- Taste and adjust seasoning if needed.
- Serve immediately or cover with plastic wrap pressed onto the surface to prevent browning.
