- 1 large onion, sliced
- 1 cup beef broth
- 1 tablespoon all-purpose flour
- 1 tablespoon butter
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix ground beef, breadcrumbs, egg, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
- Shape the mixture into 4 equal-sized patties.
- Heat oil in a skillet over medium heat. Cook the patties for 4-5 minutes per side, then remove and set aside.
- In the same skillet, melt butter and add sliced onions. Cook until softened.
- Sprinkle flour over the onions and stir to combine.
- Gradually pour in beef broth while stirring to create a smooth gravy.
- Return the patties to the skillet and simmer in the gravy for 5 minutes.
- Serve hot with mashed potatoes or rice.
