- 1 lb ground beef (80/20 recommended)
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 4 hamburger buns
- Toppings of choice (lettuce, tomato, cheese, etc.)
Instructions
- Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
- In a large bowl, combine ground beef, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix until just combined, being careful not to overwork the meat.
- Divide the mixture into 4 equal portions and shape each into a patty, making a slight indentation in the center of each patty to prevent puffing during cooking.
- Place the patties in the air fryer basket in a single layer, making sure they are not touching.
- Cook the hamburgers in the air fryer for 10-12 minutes, flipping halfway through, or until they reach your desired level of doneness (internal temperature of 160°F for medium).
- If adding cheese, place a slice on each patty during the last minute of cooking to melt.
- Remove the patties from the air fryer and let them rest for a few minutes.
- Assemble the burgers on buns with your favorite toppings and serve.
Notes
- For best results, do not overcrowd the air fryer basket.
- Adjust cooking time based on the thickness of the patties and your air fryer model.
