  • 1 lb ground beef (80/20 recommended)
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 4 hamburger buns
  • Toppings of choice (lettuce, tomato, cheese, etc.)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine ground beef, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix until just combined, being careful not to overwork the meat.
  3. Divide the mixture into 4 equal portions and shape each into a patty, making a slight indentation in the center of each patty to prevent puffing during cooking.
  4. Place the patties in the air fryer basket in a single layer, making sure they are not touching.
  5. Cook the hamburgers in the air fryer for 10-12 minutes, flipping halfway through, or until they reach your desired level of doneness (internal temperature of 160°F for medium).
  6. If adding cheese, place a slice on each patty during the last minute of cooking to melt.
  7. Remove the patties from the air fryer and let them rest for a few minutes.
  8. Assemble the burgers on buns with your favorite toppings and serve.
