- 1 can (15 oz) chickpeas, drained and rinsed
- 2 tablespoons harissa paste
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cumin
- 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Pat the chickpeas dry with a paper towel to remove excess moisture.
- In a bowl, combine the chickpeas, harissa paste, olive oil, garlic powder, salt, black pepper, cumin, and smoked paprika. Toss until the chickpeas are evenly coated.
- Spread the chickpeas in a single layer on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Roast in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until crispy and golden brown, shaking the pan halfway through cooking.
- Remove from the oven and let cool slightly before serving.
Notes
- Store any leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
- Feel free to adjust the amount of harissa paste to your spice preference.
- These chickpeas can be added to salads, grain bowls, or enjoyed as a snack on their own.
