Ingredients

  • 1 can (15 oz) chickpeas, drained and rinsed
  • 2 tablespoons harissa paste
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Pat the chickpeas dry with a paper towel to remove excess moisture.
  3. In a bowl, combine the chickpeas, harissa paste, olive oil, garlic powder, salt, black pepper, cumin, and smoked paprika. Toss until the chickpeas are evenly coated.
  4. Spread the chickpeas in a single layer on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  5. Roast in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until crispy and golden brown, shaking the pan halfway through cooking.
  6. Remove from the oven and let cool slightly before serving.
