Description

A simple and delicious hashbrown casserole made in a crockpot.


Ingredients

  • 2 lbs frozen hashbrowns
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup melted butter
  • 1/2 cup diced onion
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, mix together the hashbrowns, cream of chicken soup, sour cream, cheddar cheese, melted butter, diced onion, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  2. Pour the mixture into the crockpot.
  3. Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 3-4 hours.
  4. Stir halfway through cooking time for even heating.
  5. Once cooked, serve warm and enjoy.

Notes

  • For a crunchy top, you can add crushed cornflakes on top before serving.
  • Feel free to add cooked bacon or sausage for extra flavor.
