Description
A hearty hashbrown casserole made in a crockpot with sausage.
Ingredients

- 1 pound sausage
- 1 bag frozen hashbrowns (30 oz)
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 can cream of chicken soup (10.5 oz)
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1/2 cup chopped onion
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Cook the sausage in a skillet until browned.
- In a large bowl, mix hashbrowns, cheddar cheese, cream of chicken soup, sour cream, onion, salt, and pepper.
- Add cooked sausage to the mixture and stir well.
- Transfer the mixture to the crockpot.
- Cook on low for 6-8 hours or high for 3-4 hours.
- Serve hot and enjoy.
Notes
- For a spicier dish, use spicy sausage.
- Top with green onions for added flavor.
- Can be prepared a day in advance and refrigerated before cooking.
