A simple and delicious Hawaiian chicken dish made in a crockpot.
Ingredients

- 4 chicken breasts
- 1 cup pineapple chunks
- 1/2 cup soy sauce
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup ketchup
- 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
- 1 tablespoon minced garlic
- 1 teaspoon ground ginger
Instructions
- Place chicken breasts in the crockpot.
- In a bowl, mix pineapple, soy sauce, brown sugar, ketchup, vinegar, garlic, and ginger.
- Pour the mixture over the chicken.
- Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or high for 3-4 hours.
- Shred the chicken and stir to combine with the sauce before serving.
Notes
- Serve with rice or noodles.
- Can substitute chicken thighs for chicken breasts.
- Adjust sweetness by adding more or less brown sugar.
