- 2 cups rolled oats
- 2 large apples, peeled and diced
- 1/2 cup unsweetened applesauce
- 1/4 cup honey or maple syrup
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup almond milk or any milk of choice
- 1/4 cup chopped nuts (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large mixing bowl, combine rolled oats, diced apples, applesauce, honey, cinnamon, vanilla extract, baking powder, and salt.
- Pour in the almond milk and stir until fully combined.
- If using, fold in the chopped nuts.
- Transfer the mixture to a greased 8×8 inch baking dish.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and the oats are set.
- Allow to cool slightly before serving. Enjoy warm or at room temperature.
Notes
- You can substitute honey with maple syrup for a vegan option.
- Feel free to add raisins or dried cranberries for extra flavor.
