These healthy energy balls are an easy snack packed with protein and perfect for a quick boost of energy. They require no baking and can be made in just a few minutes!
Ingredients

- 1 cup rolled oats
- 1/2 cup nut butter (peanut, almond, or cashew)
- 1/3 cup honey or maple syrup
- 1/2 cup protein powder (vanilla or chocolate)
- 1/4 cup mini chocolate chips or dried fruit (optional)
- 1/4 cup chia seeds or flaxseeds (optional)
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, combine the rolled oats, nut butter, honey or maple syrup, protein powder, and vanilla extract.
- If desired, add mini chocolate chips or dried fruit and chia seeds or flaxseeds.
- Mix all the ingredients together until well combined. The mixture should be sticky and hold together.
- Use your hands to roll the mixture into small balls, about 1 inch in diameter.
- Place the energy balls on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to help them firm up.
- Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to one week.
Notes
- Substitute nut butter with sunflower seed butter for a nut-free option.
- Feel free to customize the energy balls by adding your favorite mix-ins like shredded coconut, nuts, or seeds.
