Ingredients
Scale

- 1/2 cup (120ml) maple syrup (Adds depth of flavor.)
- 1/2 cup (120ml) water
- 1/2 teaspoon natural food coloring (optional) (For vibrant color without artificial additives.)
- 6 wooden sticks (For dipping apples.)
- Non-stick cooking spray (To coat the baking sheet.)
- Parchment paper or silicone baking mat (For easy cleanup.)
Instructions
- Prepare your workspace by lining a baking sheet with parchment paper and lightly coating it with non-stick cooking spray.
- Wash and dry the apples thoroughly. Insert a wooden stick into the stem end of each apple.
- In a medium saucepan, combine coconut sugar, maple syrup, and water. Stir gently until moistened.
- Heat the mixture over medium-high heat until it reaches 300°F (hard crack stage). Use a candy thermometer for accuracy.
- Remove from heat and stir in natural food coloring if using. Allow bubbles to settle for 1-2 minutes.
- Dip each apple into the syrup, rotating to coat completely. Let excess syrup drip off.
