Ingredients

  • 2 whole trout, cleaned and scaled
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 lemon, sliced
  • 4 sprigs fresh dill
  • 4 sprigs fresh parsley
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Rinse the trout under cold water and pat dry with paper towels.
  3. Place the trout on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  4. Drizzle olive oil over the trout and season with salt and pepper both inside and outside.
  5. Stuff the cavity of each trout with lemon slices, dill, and parsley.
  6. Fold the edges of the parchment paper to create a packet around the trout.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the fish flakes easily with a fork.
  8. Remove from the oven and let rest for a few minutes before serving.
