Ingredients

- 1 pound chicken breast, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/2 cup flour
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- Oil for frying
Instructions
- Prepare the chicken by cutting it into small pieces.
- In one bowl, mix flour, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder.
- In another bowl, beat the egg.
- In a third bowl, place the breadcrumbs.
- Dip each chicken piece in the flour mixture, then in the egg, and finally in the breadcrumbs.
- Heat oil in a pan over medium heat.
- Fry the chicken nuggets until golden brown, about 4-5 minutes per side.
- Remove and place on paper towels to drain excess oil.
- Serve with your favorite dipping sauce.
Notes
- Ensure oil is hot enough before frying.
- For baking, preheat the oven to 400°F and bake for 20 minutes.
- Feel free to add spices to the breadcrumb mixture for extra flavor.
