Ingredients

- 4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1 packet (2 1/4 tsp) active dry yeast
- 1 cup warm milk
- 1/4 cup melted butter
- 1 egg
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1 tbsp ground cinnamon
- 1/4 cup softened butter (for filling)
- 1 cup powdered sugar (for glaze)
- 2 tbsp milk (for glaze)
- 1/2 tsp vanilla extract (for glaze)
Instructions
- Dissolve yeast in warm milk and let sit for 5 minutes.
- Mix flour, sugar, salt, melted butter, and egg in a bowl. Add yeast mixture and knead into a dough.
- Let the dough rise for 1 hour in a warm place.
- Roll the dough into a rectangle. Spread softened butter, then sprinkle brown sugar and cinnamon.
- Roll the dough tightly and cut into 12 slices.
- Place rolls in a greased baking dish. Let rise for 30 minutes.
- Bake at 375°F for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
- Mix powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla to make the glaze. Drizzle over warm rolls.
