Scale
- 1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 1/2 cup walnuts
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/4 cup honey
- 1/4 cup mayonnaise
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 tablespoon water
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- Vegetable oil for frying

- Coat the shrimp in cornstarch, shaking off excess.
- In a skillet, heat vegetable oil over medium-high heat. Fry shrimp until golden brown, about 2-3 minutes per side. Remove and drain on paper towels.
- In a large bowl, toss the fried shrimp with the honey sauce until evenly coated. Add the candied walnuts and mix gently.
- Serve immediately, garnished with additional walnuts if desired.
Notes
- For extra crunch, double fry the shrimp.
- You can substitute walnuts with pecans if desired.
- Serve over steamed rice or alongside stir-fried vegetables.
