Ingredients

  • 4 cups cooked turkey, shredded
  • 4 slices of bacon, cooked and crumbled
  • 1 cup sliced tomatoes
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Stir in the flour and cook for 1-2 minutes until lightly golden.
  3. Gradually whisk in the milk, stirring constantly until the mixture thickens. Add garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  4. In a greased baking dish, layer half of the shredded turkey, followed by half of the sauce, half of the mozzarella, half of the cheddar, and half of the tomatoes.
  5. Repeat the layers with the remaining turkey, sauce, mozzarella, cheddar, and tomatoes.
  6. Top with crumbled bacon and sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes or until bubbly and golden brown on top.
  8. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
