- 4 cod fillets
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 lemon, juiced
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a small bowl, mix together olive oil, lemon juice, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
- Place the cod fillets in a baking dish and brush the olive oil mixture over the top of each fillet.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the fish flakes easily with a fork.
- Remove from the oven and garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
Notes
- For added flavor, marinate the cod in the olive oil mixture for 30 minutes before cooking.
- Cod can also be grilled or pan-seared for a different cooking method.
