- 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1 egg
- 1/2 cup marinara sauce
- 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 tbsp olive oil
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F.
- Mix breadcrumbs, parmesan, garlic powder, oregano, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
- Beat the egg in a separate bowl.
- Dip chicken in egg, then coat with breadcrumb mixture.
- Heat olive oil in a pan and brown chicken for 2 minutes per side.
- Transfer chicken to a baking dish, top with marinara and mozzarella.
- Bake for 10 minutes or until cheese melts and chicken cooks through.
