Description

A quick and easy Instant Pot recipe for beef and broccoli with a sweet and savory honey garlic sauce.


Ingredients

  • 1.5 lbs flank steak, sliced thinly
  • 3 cups broccoli florets
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 3 tbsp honey
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp ginger, grated
  • 1 tbsp cornstarch
  • 1 tbsp water
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
  • 1/4 cup beef broth

Instructions

  1. Turn the Instant Pot to sauté mode and heat the oil.
  2. Add the beef and cook until browned, about 3-4 minutes.
  3. Stir in garlic, ginger, and red pepper flakes, cooking for 1 minute.
  4. Pour in soy sauce, honey, and beef broth, then mix well.
  5. Close the lid and set to high pressure for 5 minutes.
  6. Quick-release the pressure and open the lid.
  7. Mix cornstarch with water and stir into the pot to thicken the sauce.
  8. Add broccoli and sauté for 2-3 minutes until tender.
  9. Serve hot over rice.

Notes

  • Slice beef thinly for faster cooking.
  • Adjust honey and soy sauce to taste.
  • For crispier broccoli, steam separately and add at the end.
