Juicy chicken kofta served with a creamy garlic yogurt sauce for a flavorful and satisfying meal.


Ingredients

  • 500g ground chicken
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp ground cumin
  • 1 tsp ground coriander
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1 egg, lightly beaten
  • 2 tbsp breadcrumbs
  • 1 cup plain yogurt
  • 1 clove garlic, grated
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix ground chicken, onion, minced garlic, cumin, coriander, paprika, salt, pepper, egg, and breadcrumbs.
  2. Shape the mixture into small oval or round koftas.
  3. Heat oil in a pan over medium heat and cook koftas for 5-7 minutes per side until golden and cooked through.
  4. In a separate bowl, combine yogurt, grated garlic, lemon juice, and parsley to make the sauce.
  5. Serve koftas warm with the garlic yogurt sauce.

Notes

  • You can bake the koftas at 375°F (190°C) for 20 minutes if preferred.
  • Adjust spices to your taste.
