Ingredients

- 500g ground chicken
- 1 small onion, finely chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp ground cumin
- 1 tsp ground coriander
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1 egg, lightly beaten
- 2 tbsp breadcrumbs
- 1 cup plain yogurt
- 1 clove garlic, grated
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix ground chicken, onion, minced garlic, cumin, coriander, paprika, salt, pepper, egg, and breadcrumbs.
- Shape the mixture into small oval or round koftas.
- Heat oil in a pan over medium heat and cook koftas for 5-7 minutes per side until golden and cooked through.
- In a separate bowl, combine yogurt, grated garlic, lemon juice, and parsley to make the sauce.
- Serve koftas warm with the garlic yogurt sauce.
Notes
- You can bake the koftas at 375°F (190°C) for 20 minutes if preferred.
- Adjust spices to your taste.
- Serve with rice or flatbread.
