Ingredients

- 3 pounds beef roast
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 onion, sliced
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup beef broth
- 1 tablespoon Italian seasoning
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 4 hoagie rolls
- Pickled peppers for serving
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
- Brown the beef roast on all sides.
- Place the roast in a baking dish.
- In the skillet, sauté onion and garlic until soft.
- Add beef broth, Italian seasoning, pepper, and salt to the skillet.
- Pour the mixture over the roast.
- Cover and bake for 3 hours.
- Shred the beef and serve on hoagie rolls.
- Add pickled peppers as desired.

- Adjust seasoning to taste.
- Serve with extra broth for dipping.
- Can be made in a slow cooker for convenience.
