Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1/2 lb ground pork
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 egg
  • 1/4 cup ranch dressing
  • 4 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 2 jalapeños, diced (seeds removed for less heat)
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large bowl, mix ground beef, ground pork, breadcrumbs, egg, ranch dressing, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper.
  3. In a separate bowl, combine cream cheese, cheddar cheese, and diced jalapeños.
  4. Press half the meat mixture into a loaf pan.
  5. Spread the cheese mixture evenly over the meat.
  6. Top with the remaining meat mixture, sealing the edges.
  7. Bake for 45-50 minutes or until internal temperature reaches 160°F (71°C).
  8. Let rest for 10 minutes before slicing.
