- 12 oz penne pasta
- 1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 small onion, diced
- 1 red bell pepper, sliced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup chicken broth
- 2 tbsp Jamaican jerk seasoning
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
Instructions
- Cook the pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Add garlic, onion, and bell pepper. Sauté for 3 minutes.
- Add shrimp and cook until pink, about 4 minutes.
- Pour in heavy cream and chicken broth. Stir in jerk seasoning, salt, and black pepper.
- Simmer for 5 minutes until the sauce thickens.
- Add cooked pasta and toss to coat.
- Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.

- Adjust jerk seasoning to your spice preference.
- Substitute half-and-half for a lighter version.
- Serve with garlic bread for extra flavor.
