Ingredients

- 1 box of white cake mix
- 1 cup water
- 1/3 cup vegetable oil
- 3 large eggs
- 1 cup jello (any flavor)
- 1 cup boiling water
- 1 cup cold water
- 2 cups whipped cream
- Fresh fruit for topping (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Prepare the cake mix according to package instructions using water, oil, and eggs.
- Pour the batter into a greased 9×13 inch baking dish.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Let the cake cool completely.
- In a bowl, dissolve jello in boiling water, then add cold water.
- Poke holes in the cooled cake using a fork.
- Pour the jello mixture over the cake, filling the holes.
- Refrigerate the cake for at least 4 hours or overnight.
- Top with whipped cream before serving.
Notes
- Use different jello flavors for variety.
- Can be made a day ahead for better flavor.
- Store leftovers in the refrigerator.
