Description

Ingredients

  • 1 box of white cake mix
  • 1 cup water
  • 1/3 cup vegetable oil
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 cup jello (any flavor)
  • 1 cup boiling water
  • 1 cup cold water
  • 2 cups whipped cream
  • Fresh fruit for topping (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Prepare the cake mix according to package instructions using water, oil, and eggs.
  3. Pour the batter into a greased 9×13 inch baking dish.
  4. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  5. Let the cake cool completely.
  6. In a bowl, dissolve jello in boiling water, then add cold water.
  7. Poke holes in the cooled cake using a fork.
  8. Pour the jello mixture over the cake, filling the holes.
  9. Refrigerate the cake for at least 4 hours or overnight.
  10. Top with whipped cream before serving.
