Description
A colorful and festive jello poke cake perfect for celebrating the 4th of July.
Ingredients

- 1 box of white cake mix
- 3 large eggs
- 1 cup water
- 1 cup strawberry jello
- 1 cup boiling water
- 1 cup cold water
- 1 cup blueberry jello
- 1 cup whipping cream
- 3 tablespoons sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- Fresh strawberries and blueberries for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Prepare the white cake mix according to package instructions.
- Pour the batter into a greased 9×13 inch baking dish.
- Bake for 30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- In a bowl, dissolve the strawberry jello in boiling water, then add cold water.
- Once the cake cools, poke holes in it using a fork.
- Pour the strawberry jello mixture over the cake, allowing it to soak in.
- Repeat the process with the blueberry jello.
- Whip the cream with sugar and vanilla until soft peaks form.
- Spread the whipped cream over the cake.
- Garnish with fresh strawberries and blueberries.
Notes
- Chill the cake for a few hours before serving for best results.
- Feel free to use different jello flavors.
