Description

A simple and flavorful grilled steak recipe with garlic and herbs that guarantees juicy, tender results every time. Perfect for outdoor grilling or indoor cooking.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 (8-10 oz) ribeye or sirloin steaks
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp fresh rosemary, chopped
  • 2 tbsp fresh thyme, chopped
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp butter

Instructions

  1. Remove steaks from the fridge and let them rest at room temperature for 30 minutes.
  2. In a small bowl, mix garlic, rosemary, thyme, black pepper, salt, and olive oil to make a paste.
  3. Rub the paste evenly over both sides of the steaks.
  4. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat (about 400°F).
  5. Grill the steaks for 4-5 minutes per side for medium-rare, or adjust time for desired doneness.
  6. Remove steaks from the grill, add a small pat of butter on top, and let rest for 5 minutes before serving.

Notes

  • Use a meat thermometer for accuracy: 135°F for medium-rare, 145°F for medium.
  • Letting the steaks rest ensures juiciness.
  • Substitute dried herbs if fresh aren’t available (use half the amount).
