Ingredients

- 1 whole chicken (4–5 lbs)
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tbsp salt
- 1 tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1 lemon, halved
- 4 garlic cloves, smashed
- 2 sprigs fresh rosemary
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 425°F.
- Pat chicken dry with paper towels.
- Rub olive oil all over chicken.
- Mix salt, pepper, paprika, garlic powder, and onion powder.
- Sprinkle spice mix evenly over chicken.
- Stuff cavity with lemon halves, garlic, and rosemary.
- Tie legs together with kitchen twine.
- Place chicken breast-side up in roasting pan.
- Roast for 1 hour 15 minutes or until internal temperature reaches 165°F.
- Let rest 15 minutes before carving.
