Description
These air fryer kale chips are a healthy, crunchy snack that are quick and easy to make. With just a few ingredients, you’ll have a delicious alternative to traditional potato chips.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 bunch of kale, washed and dried
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder (optional)
- 1/4 teaspoon paprika (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your air fryer to 350°F (175°C).
- Remove the stems from the kale and tear the leaves into bite-sized pieces.
- In a large bowl, toss the kale pieces with olive oil, salt, and any optional seasonings until evenly coated.
- Place the kale in the air fryer basket in a single layer. You may need to do this in batches depending on the size of your air fryer.
- Air fry the kale for 5-7 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through, until the chips are crispy and slightly golden.
- Carefully remove the kale chips from the air fryer and let them cool on a plate. They will continue to crisp up as they cool.
- Enjoy your crispy kale chips as a healthy snack!
Notes
- Make sure the kale is completely dry before adding oil to ensure maximum crispiness.
- You can customize the seasoning according to your taste; try nutritional yeast for a cheesy flavor or cayenne pepper for heat.
- Store any leftover kale chips in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 2 days.
