A classic Key Lime Pie with a creamy and tangy filling, a buttery graham cracker crust, and topped with fresh whipped cream.

- 1 1/2 cups Graham cracker crumbs
- 1/3 cup Granulated sugar
- 6 tablespoons Unsalted butter, melted
- 3/4 cup Key lime juice
- 1 can (14 ounces) Sweetened condensed milk
- 4 large Egg yolks
- for topping Whipped cream
- for garnish Lime zest
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a mixing bowl, combine graham cracker crumbs, sugar, and melted butter. Mix until well combined.
- Press the crumb mixture firmly into the bottom and up the sides of a 9-inch pie pan.
- Bake the crust in the preheated oven for 8-10 minutes or until lightly golden. Remove from oven and let cool.
- In another bowl, whisk together the key lime juice, sweetened condensed milk, and egg yolks until smooth.
- Pour the filling into the cooled crust and spread evenly.
- Bake the pie for 15 minutes. Remove from oven and let cool to room temperature, then refrigerate for at least 3 hours or until set.
- Before serving, top with whipped cream and garnish with lime zest.
Notes
- Use fresh key limes for the best flavor. If unavailable, bottled key lime juice can be used.
- To make the crust firmer, you can bake it a little longer.
- For a smoother filling, make sure to whisk the ingredients well.
