Instructions

  1. Preheat your oil in a deep fryer or a large pot to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix the flour, paprika, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper.
  3. Dip each onion ring into the flour mixture, then into the buttermilk, and back into the flour mixture to coat well.
  4. Finally, dip the onion rings into the breadcrumbs, ensuring they are evenly coated.
  5. Carefully place the coated onion rings into the hot oil in batches, frying until golden brown and crispy, about 2-3 minutes per side.
  6. Remove the onion rings from the oil and drain on paper towels.
  7. Serve hot with BBQ sauce for dipping.
