Description
A refreshing and fragrant lavender lemonade infused with fresh mint, perfect for a summer day.
Ingredients

- 4 cups water
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 2 tablespoons dried culinary lavender
- 1 cup fresh lemon juice
- 1/2 cup fresh mint leaves
- as needed ice cubes
- for garnish lemon slices
- for garnish extra mint sprigs
Instructions
- In a saucepan, combine the water and sugar. Heat over medium heat, stirring until the sugar is dissolved.
- Add the dried lavender and bring the mixture to a boil. Once boiling, remove from heat and let steep for 15 minutes.
- Strain the lavender syrup through a fine mesh sieve into a pitcher, discarding the lavender flowers.
- Add the fresh lemon juice and stir to combine.
- Muddle the fresh mint leaves in the bottom of a glass or pitcher, then add ice cubes.
- Pour the lavender lemonade over the ice and mint, and stir gently.
- Garnish with lemon slices and extra mint sprigs before serving.
Notes
- For a stronger lavender flavor, let the syrup steep longer.
- Feel free to adjust the sweetness by adding more or less sugar.
- This lemonade can be served sparkling by adding soda water instead of still water.
