Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup Lemon Curd
  • 2 cups Heavy Whipping Cream
  • 1/4 cup Powdered Sugar
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
  • 1 cup Fresh Strawberries, sliced
  • 1 cup Fresh Blueberries

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, whip the heavy cream until soft peaks form. Gradually add powdered sugar and vanilla extract, continuing to whip until stiff peaks form.
  2. In a trifle dish or glass bowl, layer half of the cubed ladyfingers or pound cake at the bottom.
  3. Spread half of the lemon curd over the cake layer, followed by half of the whipped cream.
  4. Add a layer of fresh strawberries and blueberries.
  5. Repeat the layers with the remaining ingredients, finishing with a layer of whipped cream on top.
  6. Garnish with additional berries and a dusting of powdered sugar if desired.
  7. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours before serving to allow the flavors to meld.

Notes

  • For a more intense lemon flavor, you can add lemon zest to the whipped cream.
  • Feel free to substitute the berries with your favorites, such as raspberries or blackberries.
