  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine warm milk and yeast. Let it sit for 5 minutes.
  2. Add melted butter, sugar, eggs, salt, and lemon zest to the yeast mixture.
  3. Gradually add flour, mixing until a dough forms.
  4. Knead the dough for 5-7 minutes until smooth.
  5. Place the dough in a greased bowl and cover. Let it rise for 1 hour.
  6. Roll out the dough into a rectangle.
  7. Spread melted butter over the dough.
  8. Mix brown sugar and cinnamon, then sprinkle over the butter.
  9. Roll the dough tightly and cut into rolls.
  10. Place rolls in a greased baking dish. Let rise for 30 minutes.
  11. Bake in a preheated oven at 350°F for 25-30 minutes.
  12. Mix powdered sugar and lemon juice for icing and drizzle over warm rolls.
