Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Season scallops with salt and pepper. Add scallops to the skillet in a single layer, ensuring they are not overcrowded.
- Sear the scallops for 2-3 minutes on one side without moving them, until they develop a golden-brown crust.
- Flip the scallops and add butter, garlic, lemon juice, and lemon zest to the skillet.
- Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes, basting scallops with the melted butter sauce.
- Remove from heat and garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
