Description

A quick and flavorful lemon shrimp pasta with a light garlic butter sauce.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 oz linguine or spaghetti
  • 1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 3 tbsp butter
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes
  • Juice of 1 lemon
  • 1/4 cup chopped parsley
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese

Instructions

  1. Cook pasta in salted boiling water until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. Heat olive oil and butter in a large pan over medium heat.
  3. Add shrimp and cook for 2 minutes per side until pink. Remove shrimp and set aside.
  4. Add garlic and red pepper flakes to the pan. Sauté for 30 seconds.
  5. Return shrimp to the pan. Add lemon juice and toss to combine.
  6. Add cooked pasta and parsley. Toss everything together.
  7. Season with salt and pepper. Serve with parmesan cheese.

  • Use fresh lemon juice for the best flavor.
