Description
A classic New England lobster roll filled with tender lobster meat, mayonnaise, and a hint of lemon, served in a buttery toasted bun.
Ingredients

- 1 pound cooked lobster meat, chopped
- 1/4 cup mayonnaise
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 tablespoon chopped fresh chives
- 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 4 hot dog buns
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
- Lettuce leaves (optional, for serving)
Instructions
- In a medium bowl, combine the chopped lobster meat, mayonnaise, lemon juice, chives, and Dijon mustard. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Preheat a skillet over medium heat. Brush the outside of each hot dog bun with melted butter.
- Place the buns in the skillet and toast until golden brown on both sides, about 2-3 minutes.
- Remove the buns from the skillet and fill each with the lobster mixture.
- Serve immediately, garnished with lettuce leaves if desired.
Notes
- For added flavor, consider mixing in diced celery or red onion.
- You can also use split-top rolls for a traditional presentation.
