Description
A delicious lobster tail pastry with flaky layers and a sweet filling.
Ingredients

- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, cold
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1/4 cup cold water
- 1/2 cup almond paste
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1 tablespoon milk
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a bowl, mix flour and sugar.
- Add cold butter and mix until crumbly.
- Stir in cold water to form a dough.
- Roll out the dough and cut into rectangles.
- Place almond paste in the center of each rectangle.
- Fold over the dough and seal edges.
- Brush with beaten egg and milk mixture.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
Notes
- Serve warm for best flavor.
- Can be dusted with powdered sugar before serving.
- Store leftovers in an airtight container.
