Ingredients

- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 ½ cups sugar
- 1 cup unsalted butter
- 4 large eggs
- 1 cup milk
- 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- ½ teaspoon salt
- 2 cups Lucky Charms cereal
- 1 cup whipped cream
- ½ cup colorful sprinkles
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Grease and flour two 9-inch round cake pans.
- In a bowl, cream together butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
- Stir in milk and vanilla extract.
- In another bowl, combine flour, baking powder, and salt.
- Gradually add dry ingredients to the wet mixture.
- Fold in Lucky Charms cereal.
- Divide batter evenly between the prepared pans.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Let cakes cool for 10 minutes before transferring to wire racks.
- Once cool, frost with whipped cream and top with sprinkles.
Notes
- Store leftovers in an airtight container.
- Can be decorated with more Lucky Charms on top.
- Make sure cakes are completely cool before frosting.
