- 2 cups cooked macaroni
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 large egg
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Oil for frying
Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine the cooked macaroni, cheddar cheese, Parmesan cheese, milk, egg, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix well until combined.
- Form the mixture into small balls, about 1 inch in diameter.
- Roll each ball in breadcrumbs until fully coated.
- In a frying pan, heat oil over medium heat. Once hot, carefully add the mac and cheese balls in batches.
- Fry until golden brown, about 3-4 minutes, turning occasionally to ensure even cooking.
- Remove the balls from the oil and place them on a paper towel to drain excess oil.
- Serve warm with your favorite dipping sauce.
