- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup sun-dried tomatoes, chopped
- 1/2 cup chicken broth
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Fresh basil, for garnish
Instructions
- Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper.
- In a large skillet over medium heat, heat the olive oil. Add the chicken breasts and cook for 4-5 minutes on each side until golden brown and cooked through. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.
- Pour in the heavy cream, chicken broth, sun-dried tomatoes, and Italian seasoning. Stir to combine, bringing the mixture to a simmer.
- Add the Parmesan cheese and stir until melted and smooth.
- Return the chicken to the skillet, coating it in the creamy sauce. Simmer for an additional 3-5 minutes.
- Garnish with fresh basil before serving.
