  • Author: ushinzomr

Description

These tender, fall-off-the-bone BBQ ribs are perfect for your Memorial Day celebration. Slathered in a homemade BBQ sauce, they are sure to be a hit at your gathering!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 racks of baby back ribs
  • 1 tablespoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon paprika
  • 1 tablespoon garlic powder
  • 1 tablespoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional)
  • 2 cups BBQ sauce (store-bought or homemade)
  • 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
  • Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your grill to medium heat (about 300°F).
  2. Remove the membrane from the back of the ribs and trim any excess fat.
  3. In a small bowl, combine salt, black pepper, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, and cayenne pepper.
  4. Rub the spice mixture all over the ribs, covering both sides.
  5. Place the ribs on the grill, bone side down. Cook for about 2 hours, flipping every 30 minutes.
  6. In a small saucepan, mix the BBQ sauce with apple cider vinegar and warm it over low heat.
  7. During the last 30 minutes of cooking, baste the ribs with the BBQ sauce, flipping them every 10 minutes.
  8. Remove the ribs from the grill and let them rest for 10 minutes before slicing.
  9. Garnish with fresh parsley if desired and serve with extra BBQ sauce on the side.

Notes

  • For a sweeter BBQ sauce, add honey or brown sugar to the sauce mixture.
  • Feel free to adjust the spice levels based on your preference.
  • These ribs can also be cooked in the oven if grilling isn’t an option.
