Ingredients

  • 2 racks of baby back ribs
  • 1 cup of your favorite BBQ sauce
  • 1 tablespoon paprika
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional)
  • Salt to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your grill to medium heat.
  2. In a small bowl, mix together the paprika, brown sugar, garlic powder, onion powder, black pepper, cayenne pepper, and salt to create a dry rub.
  3. Remove the membrane from the back of the ribs and rub the dry mix all over the ribs, ensuring even coverage.
  4. Place the ribs on the grill bone side down and cook for about 2 hours, turning every 30 minutes.
  5. During the last 30 minutes of cooking, brush the ribs with BBQ sauce, flipping them halfway through to caramelize the sauce.
  6. Remove from the grill and let rest for 10 minutes before slicing.
  7. Serve with extra BBQ sauce on the side.

Notes

  • For a smoky flavor, consider adding wood chips to your grill.
