Ingredients

- 4 large potatoes, peeled and thinly sliced
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1/4 cup butter, melted
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Layer half the potatoes in a greased baking dish.
- Sprinkle half the cheese, salt, pepper, and garlic powder over the potatoes.
- Repeat with the remaining potatoes and cheese.
- Mix sour cream, milk, and melted butter. Pour over the potatoes.
- Sprinkle breadcrumbs on top.
- Bake for 45 minutes or until golden and bubbly.
Notes
- Use russet potatoes for best results.
- Let rest for 5 minutes before serving.
