Instructions

  2. Whisk together flour, baking powder, salt, cinnamon, and nutmeg in a medium bowl.
  3. Cream butter and sugar in a large bowl until light and fluffy.
  4. Beat in eggs one at a time, then mix in vanilla and pumpkin puree.
  5. Alternately add dry ingredients and milk to the butter mixture, beginning and ending with dry ingredients.
  6. Pour batter into prepared pan and bake for 35-40 minutes.
  7. Cool cake in pan for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
