- 1 pound fresh strawberries, washed and dried
- 8 ounces red chocolate melting wafers
- 1 tablespoon coconut oil (optional, for a smoother coating)
- Sprinkles or edible glitter (optional, for decoration)
Instructions
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a microwave-safe bowl, combine the red chocolate melting wafers and coconut oil. Heat in the microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring in between, until melted and smooth.
- Hold each strawberry by the stem and dip it into the melted chocolate, swirling to coat evenly. Allow excess chocolate to drip off.
- Place the dipped strawberry on the prepared baking sheet. If desired, sprinkle with sprinkles or edible glitter before the chocolate sets.
- Repeat with remaining strawberries until all are coated.
- Refrigerate the strawberries for about 30 minutes to allow the chocolate to harden.
