- 6 medium strawberries, fresh
- 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1 tablespoon coconut oil (optional)
- Sprinkles or chopped nuts (optional)
Instructions
- Wash and dry the strawberries thoroughly, making sure there is no moisture.
- In a microwave-safe bowl, combine the chocolate chips and coconut oil (if using).
- Microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring in between, until the chocolate is melted and smooth.
- Hold each strawberry by the stem and dip it into the melted chocolate, coating it completely.
- Gently shake off any excess chocolate and place the dipped strawberry on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
- If desired, sprinkle with sprinkles or chopped nuts before the chocolate hardens.
- Repeat the process with all strawberries.
- Refrigerate the strawberries for about 30 minutes to allow the chocolate to set.
- Serve chilled, and enjoy your Mother’s Day treat!
