Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a mixing bowl, cream together butter and sugar.
- Add the egg and vanilla extract, mixing until combined.
- In another bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until a dough forms.
- Roll dough into balls and place them on a baking sheet.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes until edges are lightly golden.
- Let cookies cool completely.
- For buttercream, beat together powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla extract until smooth.
- Spread buttercream on cooled cookies.
